Guwahati, Dec 05 (ANI): Two organisations in Assam- Assam Yuva Parishad (Assam Youth Association) and All Assam Students Union (AASU) - protested against Prime Minister Narendra Modi_s decision on India-Bangladesh land deal issue. Modi, during his recent visit to Assam, had indicated the India-Bangladesh land deal signed by former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will be moved forward, which means Assam will lose a big chunk of land which is facing stiff opposition by many political parties including regional Assam Gana Parishad (AGP). General Secretary of Assam Yuva Parishad, Mon Kashyap threatened of mass revolution if Modi_s government went ahead with the plan. All Assam Students Union (AASU) also took out a torch rally, demanding the ruling BJP government to step back in the land deal issue.
