The disgust associated with Yulin Dog Meat Festival 2015 is gaining traction, and celebrities urging people to sign a petition has helped in giving it a widespread reach.
Every year, roughly 10,000 dogs and cats are slaughtered. Reports say, some are burned and boiled alive for flavour.
