In the latest promo of Star Wars Rebels Season 3, several exciting elements have been revealed and fans are looking forward to watch their favourite show returning to the small screen.
As seen in the trailer, Grand Admiral Thrawn has been confirmed to return in the next season. Thrawn is one of the most popular Star Wars characters and fans are delighted by the news.
Since Disney acquired Star Wars franchise from Lucasfilm, Thrawn has been cut from many instalments. However, it seems that Disney has finally decided to include him in the primary cast of the show after considering his popularity among the Star Wars fans.

Besides Thrawn's inclusion, the trailer also hints at the return of yet another iconic super-villain, Boba Fett. In one of the scenes of the trailer, a green-armoured character is seen that might hint at Boba Fett's armoured suit. However, no such news has been confirmed officially.
Several recent rumours state that it was Boba Fett in Star Wars Rebels Season 3 trailer for sure and he was wearing his father's (Jango Fett) helmet that he repaired all by himself.
In another part of the trailer, Darth Maul and Kanan are shown with green eyes and speculations suggest that it hints at the presence of another prominent Star Wars character, Talzin. Talzin is known for her manipulative powers and whenever she possesses other people, their eyes turn green.
Kanan attacks Ezra in the promo, while Maul assists him. Both Kanan and Maul have green eyes and are seemingly possessed by Talzin. It seems that Ezra has no clue about it, as he fights both of them with a confused expression on his face.
However, there has been no official announcement regarding the presence of Bobba Fett or Talzin in Season 3 of Star Wars Rebels and fans will have to wait for one more week when the premiere episode titled Steps Into Shadow airs on 24 September on Disney XD.
