Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan had fun when they came together professionally to host Star Screen Awards 2016. But the audience isn't very pleased. They seem to have an issue with the awardees of the night. While some believe celebrated singers have been ignored, others say Salman, Shah Rukh, and Akshay Kumar's films were royally ignored. The collective opinion is, Star Screen Awards 2016 is fake.
However, the anchors of the night walked away with hefty paychecks and are unlikely to complain about not having picked up trophies for themselves. At the post-event press meet, they said it was fun working with each other and that given a good script, they would definitely make a film together.
The actors also spoke about their cold war that lasted as many as seven years. While Salman said the kind of fight they had is commonplace and happens in every friendship, the media hyped it up unnecessarily. "This is the way we are in our normal life also. It is nice our friendship has extended," SRK added.
