After setting the box office on fire in India and major parts of the world, SS Rajamouli's magnum opus, Baahubali 2, is finally ready to hit the screens in China. The makers have reportedly locked in the release date of the multi-lingual flick.

As per the buzz, Baahubali 2 will release on September 17. Although there is no confirmation on the screen count, trade experts predict the movie would get more than 4,000 screens. Recently, Aamir Khan's Dangal was released in the country in about 9,000 screens and minted an earth-shattering Rs. 1100+ crore so far.

The success of Dangal has shown the potential of Chinese market. The makers are counting on Baahubali 2 to make it big in China and are reportedly in the works to do an extensive promotion to hype up the movie.

The first instalment of Baahubali was released in 6,000 screens, but failed to strike gold at the Chinese box office. Hence, the screen count has been reduced to 4,000 for the sequel.
