A source close to producer KL Narayana has slammed the reports that director SS Rajamouli is set to work with superstar Mahesh Babu and Nandamuri Balakrishna in a multi-starrer film.
The rumours about Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli's project have been doing the rounds for quite some time now. Of late, it was rumoured that Prince would team up with Nandamuri Balakrishna for a multi-starrer film. The Baahuabli director would wield megaphone for this project, which would be produced by KL Narayana, who has earlier produced seven films, including "Rakhi" and "Santosham."
But a source close to KL Narayana ruled out the project saying that the producer has not approached Balayya with any offer. "K.L. Narayana hasn't approached Balakrishna and there is no truth in it. So, it may be just a rumour," Deccan Chronicle quoted the source as saying.
Mahesh Babu has gone on a holiday trip to London with his family after the release of "Brahmotsavam," which bombed at the box office. He is expected to return to Hyderabad in the first week of July and start shooting for his next project, which would be directed by AR Murugadoss. This movie will go on the floors on July 15.
Nandamuri Balakrishna is busy shooting for his forthcoming film "Gautamiputra Satakarni," which is a period drama written and directed by Krish. This project happens to be his 100th movie and the senior actor is leaving no stone unturned to make this landmark film a huge success of his career.
It should be recalled here that SS Rajamouli has evinced his interest to work with Mahesh Babu, but he has not signed any project with him. The director is currently working on "Baahubali: The Conclusion," the second instalment in the "Baahubali" film series which is scheduled to be released in theatres on April 14, 2017.
