Filmmaker Karan Johar turned 44 on May 25 and he celebrated his birthday with B-Town friends in London. Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Sidharth Malhotra and Kareena Kapoor Khan were among the celebrities who attended KJo's birthday bash.

SRK and Gauri Khan flew down to London for their friend's birthday, while ex-couple Ranbir and Katrina were in Morocco for "Jagga Jasoos" shoot and went to London after wrapping up the shooting, according to Mumbai Mirror. The report suggests that Kareena and Saif Ali Khan attended the bash as they were already in London on vacation and Sidharth along with Alia Bhatt were also invited, but the "Udta Punjab" actress gave it a miss due to a film's shoot.

It looks like Karan had a rocking party with his B-Town friends, but if it would have taken place in Mumbai, then it would have been a big star-studded affair. Karan maintains cordial relationship with most of the celebrities and any party hosted by the director has hardly been missed by Bollywood stars.

As London is Karan's favourite place, he had celebrated his last birthday also at that beautiful destination. In fact, his upcoming film "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" has been shot in the U.K. capital. KJo is making his directorial comeback after four years with "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil." It features Ranbir, Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Fawad Khan in key roles.

Meanwhile, several Bollywood celebs like Varun Dhawan, Abhishek Bachchan, Kriti Sanon, Anushka,  Alia, Ronit Roy, Riteish Deshmukh, Ayushmann Khurrana, Shahid Kapoor, Boman Irani, Parineeti Chopra and Anil Kapoor have wished Karan "Happy Birthday" on social media.
