Sri Lanka and West Indies will square off Sunday in a Group 1 encounter of the ICC World T20 2016 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Both sides have managed winning starts to their World T20 campaign.

It will be interesting to see which side will prevail at the end of the game.

One will believe that with the kind of cricket West Indies have played so far in this tournament, the Darren Sammy-led Caribbeans will start this match with a step ahead of a struggling Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka may have won their first match of the ICC World T20 2016 against Afghanistan, but that victory was not really convincing. They were struggling during their run chase. Thanks to that good innings from veteran opening batsmen Tillakaratne Dilshan, Sri Lanka regiestered their first victory of the World T20.

West Indies on the other hand opened their account in the points table by hammering England — courtesy an incredible innings from the big Jamaican Chris Gayle. He scored a hundred off just 47 balls and made sure his side went over the line. West Indies won that game with more than two overs to spare.

Sri Lanka will be wary of the Gayle force, who can single-handedly take the game away from them.

Gayle will return to his home ground of the IPL, where he is loved by all. He knows the conditions better than the Lankans and is expected to be on top of his game.
