Panaji, Jan 13 (ANI): After Goa's Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Ramesh Tawadkar created a furor by saying that the LGBT community needs cure, state Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar did a damage control saying sexual orientation is a natural thing. Meanwhile, the Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community is hoping that Tawadkar apologizes for his controversial statement. Tawadkar on Monday sparked a row by saying that government is contemplating setting up centres to make LGBT youth 'normal'. Tawadkar said that the LGBT youth will be trained and administered medicine in order to make them 'normal'. He, however, took a u-turn over the issue saying he was misunderstood and misquoted on the issue later.
