A spoof video of superstar Rajinikanth doing the epic split has gone viral on the internet.

A few days ago, an online commercial that showed actor Jean-Claude Van Damme doing a split between two Volvo trucks, went viral on the net. Till date, the video has been viewed more than 5 crore times (and still counting) on the video-sharing site YouTube.

Thalaivar (Rajinikanth) fans have come up with an animated version of the actor performing the epic split atop auto rickshaws. The video has gone viral online with more than 6 lakh views within a few days.

The spoof video shows Rajinikanth as an auto driver, a character that he played in the blockbuster flick "Baadshah." Van Damme performed the split between two trucks, but superstar does the same stunt between six auto-rickshaws with three on each side and one above the other. The actor appears to be balancing the autos performing the split.

The video titled "Thalaivar Epic Split" has been done in a hilarious way. The 1 minute 17 second-long video also has voice-overs in between. One such voice over states, "The video was shot to demonstrate how Thalaivar travels on a regular day."

The original Van Damme commercial carries a message in the end saying, "It was carried out by professionals in a closed-off area." In similar lines, the Rajinikanth spoof video also ends with a message saying, "This video was edited by Thalaivar fans in a closed-off area."

This is not the first time that hard-core Rajinikanth fans have done something special to show the actor's power. Last year, a new website was created and dedicated to the superstar. Interestingly, the website runs without an internet connection. [To check out the website, click here]

Rajinikanth enjoys a massive fan following across the globe. His fans are eagerly waiting to see his upcoming Tamil film "Kochadaiiyaan" (aka "Kochadaiyaan"), which is likely to hit the screens in April 2014.
