Ahead of Sony's Spider-Man: Homecoming release in July, thousands of rumours are pouring in about all the characters in the movie. Amongst those, fans have been crazy to know the identity of actress Zendaya's character in the upcoming movie.
Recently, some crazy Spidey fans revealed that Zendaya will be playing the character of Michelle Toomes, Vulture's (Michael Keaton) daughter. According to the junior novelisation of Spider-Man, Zendaya's last name is Toomes which indicates that Zendaya's character Michelle is the daughter of Spider-Man's arch enemy Vulture.
But a recent report of ScreenGeek completely debunked such rumours, saying that members of Reddit and Tumblr already have the leaked book with them which does not have any details regarding Michelle's (Zendaya) last name. The book which is written by author Jim McCann only describes her as "the artsy kid at his school full of science and math whizzes who loves to give Peter a hard time."
While the rumour is not completely proved to be false, Zendaya's character might come out as a twist in the plot of Spider-Man: Homecoming movie. The novel also reveals that Keaton's Vulture aka Adrian Toomes had a daughter named Valeria with a woman named Cheryl. But that does not suggest any kind of similarity of the surnames of Vulture and Michelle. None of the promotional materials reveal any such information as of yet.
