Lucknow, May 22 (ANI): The Samajwadi Party on Thursday dissolved its Uttar Pradesh unit following the party's bad performance in the 2014 polls. Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, however, will remain the party's state chief. The incident came two days after 36 SP leaders having Minister of State (MoS) status in the state government were sacked. Talking on the same, party leader Rajendra Chaudhry said that the decision was taken on guidance of the SP Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav. He said that introspection on the reasons of bad performance is underway and these developments came in the same respect.
