Sony's recently unveiled phablet Xperia T2 Ultra has set foot in the Indian market.
Online retailer, Saholic has begun taking orders for Sony Xperia T2 Ultra (Single-SIM) for ₹32,000 and the delivery of the device is said to begin by 26 February.
The new phablet sports a 6.0-inch HD (1720x1280p) TFT screen boasting Sony's proprietary TRILUMINOS and BRAVIA Engine 2 display technology. It runs on the Android v4.3 Jelly Bean OS backed a 1.4GHz Snapdragon quad-core processor with 1GB RAM, 8GB expandable (up to 32GB) storage on board and a high-capacity 3000 mAh (Li-Ion) battery capable of powering the smartphone up to 44 days under standby mode and close to 24 hours of talk time.
Sony Xperia T2 also boasts of 13.0-megapixel main camera with pulsed LED flash support, Exmor RS sensor, 16 X digital zoom, HDR support for both videos and picture, whereas on the front side, it houses 1.1-megapixel camera.
The new Sony phablet will be up against recently released Oppo N1, Samsung Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy Mega 5.8, Mega 6.3 and it will also be competing with its 2013 flagship phablet sibling Xperia Z Ultra.
