Just a few days after Sony rolled out new Android Jelly Bean OS updates to smartphones-Xperia S, SL, Acro S, P, another sibling Xperia Go has joined the club to get the second firmware update.

Sony community website, Xperia Blog has reported that the Xperia Go (ST27i) has recieved the new Android Jelly Bean update (version: 6.2.A.1.100); the very same update, Xperia P had received a few days ago.

The new firmware (version 6.2.A.1.100) has come two months after the first Jelly bean update (version: 6.2.A.0.400).

In related news, some Xperia S owners had reported bugs soon after the first OS update was rolled out last month, complaining that they experienced some lag in the camera applications along with a couple more issues related to battery drain even when the smartphone was in power saving stamina mode, and volume keys were temporarily non-functional at times.

In a bid to mitigate the furious Xperia owners, the company this week released a new wave of OS updates to more than four Xperia models. However, Xperia Ion owners are still waiting for Jelly Bean OS update.

According to various reports, the Japanese company is rumoured to be rolling out OS update (version number: 6.2.B.0.204) to 'Xperia Ion (LT28h)' smartphone in the coming week. The company's flagship water and dust-resistant Xperia Z variants - LTE (C6603) and HSPA+ (C6602) - are also reportedly set to get the taste of Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS flavour soon.
