Sony Pictures Networks India has bagged the rights for broadcasting all the 18 matches of Masters Champions League (MCL) 2020 in India. Sony SIX will be showcasing all the matches live. 

Sony SIX also broadcasts other T20 tournaments across the globe like Caribbean Premier League, Ram Slam T20 Challenge, Karnataka Premier League and last but not the least, the most popular of them all, The Indian Premier League.

MCL 2020 is supposed to kickstart from 28 January, 2016. The legends of the international game will feature for six different teams in this T20 league. The final of the MCL 2020 will take place in Dubai on 13 February, 2016. 

The six teams are - Libra Legends, Gemini Arabians, Capricorn Commanders, Leo Lions, Sagittarius Strikers and Virgo Super Kings. 

Sourav Ganguly of Libra Legends and Virender Sehwag of Gemini Arabians will take on each other in the first game of the MCL 2020 in Dubai on 28 January. Icons of the game of cricket like Brian Lara, Muttiah Muralitharan, Adam Gilchrist, Paul Collingwood, Brett Lee, Jacques Kallis, Mahela Jayawardene and Kumar Sangakkara will also be playing in this tournament. 

India skipper MS Dhoni has also been roped in as the brand ambassador of the MCL 2020 few days ago. MCL have also launched ticket sales of the tournament with MS Dhoni leaving a special message for the fans of the the above mentioned legends and the international game. 

The schedule of the tournament has also been announced. The organizers are expecting that this tournament is going to be a massive success just like the Cricket All Stars T20 League that took place earlier this year in the USA. However, legends like Shane Warne and Sachin Tendulkar will not be featuring in the MCL 2020.
