Last month, Sony had released Android v4.3 Jelly Bean software to Xperia T, TX and V smartphones. Now the company has rolled out another update to the same devices.

The new firmware (9.2.A.1.199) is available via OTA (Over-The-Air) for Xperia T, TX and V and is said to bring improvements in battery life, user-interface and other software performance enhancing features, reported Xperia Blog.

Sony also released a statement detailing the benefits of the new 'Xperia Theme,' which has been made available to all Xperia devices which got the Android v4.3 software update recently.

"Xperia Themes is a new and unique way to express your personality. Install a theme of your choice and skin up to 280 assets including navigation bar, icons and folders." said the company blog post.

Xperia Theme is like a multi-utility tool, wherein user can personalize the smarphone's user-interface like wallpapers on the home screen and lock-screen as well as custom navigation bar icons, check-boxes, sliders, switches and buttons.

Sony claims that the company intends to swell the number in the Xperia Theme collections as well as add more elements to make the app more useful.

New Xperia Themes can be downloaded from the smartphone's Themes app and also via Google Play store. One of the most popular is said to be the - 'Triflat'; it comes with rich colorful system user-interface, and lock-screen wallpapers.
