Parents raise their children with many expectations and desires, but only a few are lucky enough to get the love and care of their kids during their old age. In this modern, busy world, it is getting increasingly common for many people to dump their parents in some old age homes.

However, Joseph Riquelme, CEO and founder of iPhone video editing tool Videoshop app from New York, is different. This Christmas, he has given his parents the best gift ever by paying off their mortgage.

"Sometimes the best gifts come in the lamest packages. Merry Christmas everyone," Joseph posted along with a photo, on 26 December.

A heart touching video, which was uploaded on the same day on YouTube, shows Joseph with his parents as he hands over a letter saying "I have one more gift for you". The parents are seen opening the letter, that reads: "Your house is paid off. Merry Xmas". This leaves them in tears.

The video has gone viral on social networking sites and was viewed more than six million times, at the time of reporting.
