It's curtains for "Sons of Anarchy" season 7. The finale was a heady mix of laughers and tears, as Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) bade his final goodbye to the fans. Showmaker Kurt Sutter did leave the fans in utter shock when Teller breathed his last. Here is a recap of the much-intriguing last episode of the FX's biker drama.

Warning: Spoilers Ahead.

The episode begins with Teller packing his bags to leave the city of Charming. He kisses and hugs his kids and pays a visit to Opie and Tara's graveyard. He leaves his wedding ring on Tara's grave. The scene cuts to a shot of paper work being thrown away.

Teller adds a new member to SAMCRO club, T.O. Cross (Michael Beach) and then SAMCRO gang chases Connor. Later, Teller tells Chibbs that he will leave the club.

"This is how you learn to be a leader, brother, doing the shit that hurts the most," Jax tells Chibbs. He then goes to Nero and tell him that he is leaving all his assets to Wendy.

"I'm leaving. I need you to promise that my boys leave this place, so that they don't become what I've become," he says. He also confesses to him that he was the one who killed Gemma. He even reveals to Nero about his heart-breaking wish that he wants his kids to hate him.

Then he goes to County District Attorney and reveals the ugly truth about Gemma. He says, "It wasn't the Chinese that killed my wife Tara Knowles. It wasn't anyone outside the club. It was my mother. Gemma Teller killed Tara in a fit of rage, and then Juice — Juan Carlos Ortiz — killed Eli to protect Gemma," as quoted by Hollywoodlife.

Teller then kills Barosky (Peter Weller) and August Marks (Billy Brown). He gives up his SAMCRO presidentship. In the last scene, he is seen taking his final ride, as the trailer hits him. The scene cuts to a pool of blood.

"Sons of Anarchy" season 7 last episode was titled "Papa's Goods." Sutter will now be coming up with his next series called "The Bastard Executioner."
