Sonam Kapoor's brother Harshvardhan Kapoor is set to win hearts when he makes his acting debut with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's "Mirziya" this year. And even before the release of his first film, the actor has bagged another film, titled "Bhavesh Joshi."

The "Udaan" director, Vikramaditya Motwane, will direct the film, which will be a superhero flick. "Yes, we are making 'Bhavesh Joshi' with Harshvardhan Kapoor and the film will be going on floors from next month," the filmmaker said in a statement. It is said that Vikramaditya was very impressed with Anil Kapoor's son, Harshvardhan, when he met him for the first time.

Harshvardhan, who is getting a big launch as an actor through Rakeysh's "Mirziya," was, however, not the first choice for "Bhavesh Joshi." It was initially offered to actors like Imran Khan, Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra. But nobody was finalised, and reports that the film had been shelved started doing the rounds. But now, the director has confirmed that the superhero movie is set to roll.

Earlier reports had revealed that Vikramaditya had signed up Sonakshi Sinha as the lead actress. However, the filmmaker denied the reports and said they were still in search of the lead actress of the film.

The makers have not disclosed much about the film's subject, but the storyline is said to be about a vigilante who uses his superpowers to save common people in Mumbai. The project will be produced by Phantom Films and it is already creating a lot of excitement amongst the audience.

Vikramaditya was to start rolling the camera for the film in December 2014, but the change in the cast led to the delay of the project. It is now expected to go on the floors soon, with Harshvardhan as the lead actor.
