Bollywood actors travel a lot for their film projects and if they fall sick, then the shooting gets stalled.

Viral diseases which are spreading like wild fire thesedays have not spared the actors as well.

Here are the celebs who were victims of viral diseases:

Sonam Kapoor

Everybody knows Bollywood fashionista has been tested positive for H1N1 virus. The actress was shooting for "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" with Salman Khan in Rajkot when she complained of viral fever. Kapoor had contracted swine flu from her gym instructor.

Kareena Kapoor Khan

The royal bahu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, had once been diagnosed with dengue. Thankfully, the diva soon recovered from the viral disease.

Ranveer Singh

While shooting for his blockbuster film "Goliyon Ki Rasleela – Ram-Leela", Ranveer Singh caught dengue. But later the actor recovered after undergoing treatment in Hinduja hospital.

Katrina Kaif

The "Bang Bang" actress had also tested positive for swine flu when she went to New York with her alleged beau Ranbir Kapoor. The actress then went to London and Kapoor scion had to return home a few days later.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra

Sadly, filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra and his entire family has caught swine flu. He and his son Agni are admitted to the hospital and wife Anupama Chopra is at home.

Yash Chopra

India lost an ace filmmaker, Yash Chopra, on 21 October, 2012. The legend died due to dengue and kidney ailments.

Vir Das

Vir Das was diagnosed with dengue while shooting for his film "Sooper Se Ooper". His illness affected the promotion of the movie.

Lisa Haydon

Glamorous Lisa Haydon had caught dengue during her trip to New Delhi. She was going there to promote her film "The Shaukeens", but she returned back after falling sick.
