The solar scam prime accused, Biju Radhakrishnan, who alleged that Kerala chief minister Oommen Chandy had taken a Rs 5.5 crore bribe from him, has been asked to submit evidence within a week.

The solar scam commission, which had dismissed his request for 15 days for the submission, told him to hand over documents and CDs on 10 December.

Biju had also claimed that he has visual evidence of the chief minister and six others sexually exploiting Saritha Nair, another accused in the corruption case.

Others in the purported video include Labour Minister Shibu Baby John, Tourism minister AP Anilkumar, his personal staff member Nasarulla, MLA Hiby Eden and Congress leader Aryadan Shoukkat.

The accused will submit the documents and visual evidence to prove his allegations against CM Chandy based on legal advice he will receive, reports said.

The commission headed by Justice G Sivarajan also warned the state government not to intervene in the case or try to seize the documents.

Meanwhile, CM Oommen Chandy said that he will end his political career if the allegations are proved.
