Queensland has been hit by heavy rainfall and thunderstorms over the last days, leaving 35,000 homes without power.Flights from Brisbane Airport were delayed. Metropolitan police has released CCTV footage of a man robbing an elderly woman in East Finchley.The woman in her 80s was robbed around 3pm on 1 March in Thomas More Way.A man can be seen following her before pulling her to the ground and taking her handbag.He then fled the crime scene in a grey Volkswagen Golf.The woman was taken to hospital with injuries to her face and knee. At least 140 firefighters tried to contain a 10-alarm fire blazing in several buildings.The fire started in a three-family home undergoing renovations, which later collapsed.The fire then spread to seven or eight other buildings and nearby cars.Around 60 people had to be evacuated.
