New Delhi, Oct 15 (ANI): After another or 14th FIR in Coal block allocation scam, wherein CBI has named Chairman of the Aditya Birla Group, Kumar Mangalam Birla, along with his company Hindalco and a former bureaucrat, BJP leader Prakash Javadekar said dubbed the case as "Complete monumental fraud" and slammed the slow pace of investigation in the same. US ship detained in Tamil Nadu, Foreign Ministry probe on

New Delhi, Oct 15 (ANI): The Indian authorities have commenced thorough investigation into 'illegal' weapons found onboard a ship operated by an US maritime security company, which was detained off the Tuticorin (Tuthukudi) port in Tamil Nadu. The ship was seized on Friday. India's Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Syed Akbaruddin stated that the ship where 35 people were onboard was also detained for failing to produce papers authorising the vessel to carry weapons and ammunition in Indian waters. Among them were 10 crew members and 25 armed security guards. The crew and the ship will remain detained till the authentic documentation is submitted. Oct 15, 2013

Fire in Pantry car of Rajdhani Express, no casualities reported

Dibrugarh, Oct 15 (ANI): Passengers on board the Rajdhani Express travelling from Dibrugarh to New Delhi had a narrow escape after the pantry car of the train caught fire early morning on Tuesday. No causality has been reported so far. According to sources, one of the two pantry cars caught fire following which, the rest of the train was isolated to prevent further damage. The incident happened as the train was crossing through Assam's Nagaon district at about 4:00 in the morning. The fire has now been brought under control.
