At least 6 killed in Mumbai high-rise building fire

Mumbai, Dec 14 (ANI): At least 6 people are feared dead while 25 others have been rescued in a major fire that broke out in the 26-storey Mont Blanc building, an elite residential high-rise in South Mumbai. Fire broke out on the 12th floor of the high-rise residential building on Friday causing damage to the property but there were no immediate reports of casualties. The fire fighters rushed to the site and struggled to douse the flames atop the building. It is being said that renovation work was being carried out on the 12th floor of the building which initiated the fire. There was a cylinder blast which further aggravated the mishap. Dec 14, 2013
