Villagers thrash and hand over surendered militants to police in Manipur

Manipur, Oct 19 (ANI): Members of various insurgent outfits harass civilians through extortion, attacks and other means. Recently, in Manipur’s Laikhong village, people punished two cadres who were misbehaving with a girl. Identified as Hijam Dinesh of Kangleipak Communist Party (Lallumba) and Gambhir of Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (MDF), the two were beaten up by angry villagers.
