Poll bound Bangladesh struggles for stability amidst political turmoil

Dhaka, Dec 03 (ANI): War veteran of Bangladesh's independence, Mahboob Zaman has called for a dialogue between the feuding parties- the Awami League and the BNP, to end political turmoil and violence, as the country struggled for stability ahead of the upcoming elections. 1984 anti-Sikh riots: SC rejects Sajjan Kumar's plea, asks him to face trial for murder

New Delhi, Dec 3 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected Sajjan Kumar's petition to drop murder charges against him in the 1984 anti-Sikh riot cases. The court asked Kumar to face trial for murder in Delhi’s Sultanpuri, during the riots that followed the assassination of late PM Indira Gandhi by her Sikh bodyguards.
