Karnataka, Jan 20 (ANI): The cuisine of India is as vast as its people. Besides being an integral part of the Indian way of life, it has also evolved from an amalgamation of different culture existing in the country. One example where food is a perfect example of communal harmony comes from Chitradurga in Karnataka state. Here, a restaurant, Hamza serves city's most famous and lip smacking Biryani and other delicacies to people belonging to different communities. The other uniqueness about the restaurant is that it is owned by a Muslim and includes staff belonging to both Hindu as well as Muslim communities. This utmost togetherness amongst people belonging to different communities spreads a message of communal harmony. A similar example comes from Rajouri district of Jammu where devotees practicing different religions together visit the shrine of Baji Rasool Hassan Shah to celebrate his annual Urs. Bone chilling cold disrupts normal life in northern India

Kanpur/ Jammu, Jan 20 (ANI): Spell of intense cold wave continued to sweep large parts of northern India, paralysing normal life and disrupting rail traffic on Monday. People were seen sitting around bonfires on pavements to beat the cold. Dense fog engulfed many parts of the region, causing trouble for the daily commuters due to poor visibility and dozens of trains running behind schedule or cancelled.
