New Delhi, Dec 28 (ANI): After taking oath as Delhi’s seventh Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday said that cleaning the corrupt government required stepping inside the muck. He said that the solutions to the problem of Delhi people will find its way through combined effort of the party as well as the people of Delhi. He also requested his party workers never to be arrogant on the powers gained by the party and always remain humble. Further, he also appreciated BJP leader Harshvardhan and said that unlike his party, he is a nice and humble man. Kejriwal also talked about tactics to get hold of all the bribe takers in the system. Salman Khurshid assured all help to arrested journalist in Sri Lanka

New Delhi, Dec 28 (ANI): India’s Foreign Minister Salman Khurshid, said that the union government would extend all possible help to arrested journalist in Sri Lanka. Sri Lankan police has arrested a freelance Indian journalist, Prabhakaran, for clicking pictures of sensitive installations on a tourist visa. He is being questioned in Colombo. The Indian envoy has been informed of the developments. Sri Lankan police revealed that an Indian national was arrested on charges of filming a military installation in Kilinochchi, stronghold of former Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE). Muzaffarnagar, Dec 28 (ANI): Muzaffarnagar riot-hit victims languishing in relief camps rubbished state government’s report, which stated that death of 34 children in the camp was not due to cold. Victims, on Friday criticised the report of a fact-finding committee that claimed death of children in the camp was not only because of cold but also due to other health and circumstantial problems in the camps. The victims also challenged authorities to come out and experience cold weather. Beant Singh's assassins released on 28 days parole

Chandigarh, Dec 28 (ANI): Former Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh's assassins were released on Thursday on 28 days parole from Burail Jail in Chandigarh. Shamsher Singh and Lakhwinder Singh were given life sentences for their role in the assassination of Beant Singh on August 31, 1995 outside the Punjab civil secretariat in Chandigarh after a suicide bomber triggered the explosive tied in a belt around his waist. An elated Shamsher Singh thanked media and former terrorist Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa, who has been fasting in Amritsar demanding their release. Dec 28, 2013
