Italy says determined to press for speedy trial of marines

New Delhi, Feb 03 (ANI): Special envoy of Italian government, Staffan De Mistura said on Monday that his government was hoping for speedy resolution of the diplomatic row involving two of its marines charged with the murder of Indian fishermen, an incident that has soured relations between New Delhi and Rome. The Supreme Court has asked the central government to make its stand clear by February 10 on invoking anti-piracy law against the two Italian marines. Urging India to end the logjam, Mistura also said that the Supreme Court should make its stand clear by February 10. Mistura said Italy would decide on a counter move after hearing court’s view in the case. Feb 3, 2014

BJP denies AAPs allegation of destabilizing Kejriwal govt

Mass graves in Balochistan raise concerns about human rights violations

Karachi / Khuzdar, Feb 03: These female members of the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) held a protest rally in Karachi to condemn the discovery of three mass graves in Khuzdar district of Balochistan on January 25. Human rights groups have expressed "shock and deep concern" over the recovery of over 150 bodies, believed to be the corpses of the missing Baloch, who were arrested and later unlawfully killed by Pakistani security agencies. The Voice for Baloch Missing Persons has the details of 8,000 people who have disappeared over the past ten years, and haven't been seen since. Vegetable traders strike at Azadpur mandi

Philip Seymour Hoffman dies at 46 from apparent drug overdose

New Delhi, Feb 3 (ANI): Academy award winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead from an apparent drug overdose. The 46-year-old actor's body was reportedly discovered on Feb 02 by his personal assistant in the bathroom of his New York apartment with a needle in his arm after injecting heroin. Hoffman's family have issued a statement saying that they are devastated by the loss of the ' Capote' star and appreciate the outpouring of love and support they have received. They added that this is a tragic and sudden loss and they requested people to give them some privacy to grieve.
