One killed, many feared trapped in Mumbai building collapse

Mumbai, March 14 (ANI): One person was killed and four others suffered minor injuries after a 'highly dilapidated' seven-story building collapsed in Yashwant Nagar area of Mumbai's Santa Cruz on Friday. A resident of the area said that the local municipal corporation had deemed the building unsafe for living and had given several eviction notices to the residents. A bench headed by Chief Justice P Sathasivam, before whom the matter was mentioned for an urgent hearing, posted the case to March 28.
