Maoists victimize dead police informers family in red corridor region

Gaya, Feb 25 (ANI): Maoists victimize family of a dead police informer in “red corridor” region of Gaya in Bihar, demolishing and turning their houses and farmlands into ashes, leaving them in distress with no means of livelihood. Lamenting government's apathy, the family said that the authorities had failed to provide them any compensation or help for their survival. The Maoists had attacked house of Vijay Yadav after brandishing him as a police informer in March 2011. The rebels also looted the house before burning it down. After the incident, Yadav fled from the village with his family members. Feb 25, 2014

Guwahati, Feb 25 (ANI): While addressing a rally in Guwahati, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday lashed out at BJP and its prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi indirectly and said that leaders who say that change will be brought in 60 months are making fun of people. He said that change is brought by people of the country and not by any party and saying this is nothing less than laughing at the people.
