Ministers ready to take greater responsibilities in Modi's cabinet

New Delhi, Nov 09 (ANI): The newly sworn in ministers in the Cabinet rejig said on Sunday that they were ready to play their role given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. JP Nadda who took oath as Cabinet Minister said that he will work for the government as well as the party with equal vigour. Rajiv Pratap Rudy, who sworn in as minister of state said that once the portfolio will be given, he will start working for the same with full dedication. PM Modi expands Union Cabinet, inducts 22 new ministers

New Delhi, Nov 09 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday finally expanded his Council of Ministers and reshuffled his Cabinet for the first time after taking over as the Prime Minister of India in May. The new ministers took the oath of office at Rashtrapati Bhavan in the presence of the NDA ministers and the prime minister himself. President Pranab Mukherjee administered oath to the ministers as their names were being announced at the grand function. The first to take oath was Manohar Parrikar who is tipped to get the defence portfolio. Following him were Suresh Prabhu, JP Nadda and Ch Birender Singh who took oath as Cabinet Ministers. PM Modi pays respect to 'Perfectionist Eknath Ranade' on his birth centenary
