New Delhi, Oct 24 (ANI): Politicos on Friday gave mixed reactions on PM Narendra Modi's Kashmir visit. Modi on Thursday visited Siachen, the world's highest battlefield in the Himalayan region, on the day of Diwali, and interacted with soldiers. Asserting that the BJP government stands with flood victims of Jammu and Kashmir in rehabilitation work, Prime Minister Modi also announced 570 crore rupees package for rebuilding homes in the devastated Kashmir Valley. Modi, who met Jammu and Kashmir Governor NN Vohra at the Raj Bhavan in Srinagar, also announced 175 crore rupees for reconstruction of six major hospitals. Oct 24, 2014

Minor rape case: Karnataka CM orders action against school management

Bangalore, Oct 23 (ANI): Taking serious note of the recent incident of sexual abuse of a three-year-old student in Bangalore, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has instructed police officials to initiate prompt action against the school management. The girl was subjected to medical tests on Tuesday before being admitted to a private hospital. Bangalore Police had earlier on Thursday detained a suspect and filed a criminal complaint against the school. This incident of sexual abuse, which saw protests by angry parents, occurred barely three months after a six-year-old girl was allegedly raped by two gym instructors inside the premises of another private school in Bangalore on July 3. Kochi, Oct 24 (ANI): Kerala's Kochi Airport has been put on high alert on the orders of the Airports Authority of India following receipt of a bomb threat. He said the BJP parliamentary board and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take the correct decision at the right time.
