Chopra discussed various social issues like domestic violence, gender inequality and importance for education of women as she addressed an event of UNICEF in Nagpur city of Maharashtra. The brand ambassador of UNICEF in India emphasised upon an education programme, Deepshikha aimed at empowering the fairer sex of the country socially, economically and morally. Uttarkashi, Aug 11 (ANI): Police rescued a 10-year-old child who was swept away by the torrential flow of the river Assi Ganga in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. The child was bathing in the river with his three friends when there was a sudden increase in the water level due to rain. While the three other children escaped, one child was carried away around 100 metres due to the strong currents. Chennai, Aug 10 (ANI): A native of Tamil Nadu coming back from Guinea to Chennai has been kept under observation for Ebola virus, said a doctor on Sunday.
