Maneka Gandhi launches trailer of Akshay's film 'It's Entertainment'

Mumbai, May 20 (ANI): BJP leader and animal rights activist Maneka Gandhi was in the showbiz capital Mumbai to launch the trailer of Akshay Kumar's upcoming movie 'Its Entertainment'. Speaking on the occasion Maneka said that it's important to treat animals in a responsible way during the shooting of films. While Khiladi Kumar on the other hand thanked Maneka for coming all the way from Delhi for the launch. The film, which revolves around a dog, called Entertainment, will hit the theaters on August 8. New Delhi, May 20 (ANI): Senior BJP leader LK Advani on Tuesday proposed the name of Narendra Modi for leader of BJP parliamentary party, paving the way for him to be the Prime Minister. Murli Manohar Joshi, Venkaiah Naidu, Nitin Gadkari seconded the name of Modi as the leader of the parliamentary party. Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley, Karia Munda, Gopinath Munde, Ravishankar Prasad, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi also seconded Advani's proposal. Modi will be elected by BJP's 282 MPs as the Parliamentary Party leader at a meeting in the central hall of Parliament. At least 17 killed in JandK road accident

Jammu, May 20 (ANI): At least 17 people were killed and more than 30 injured when a bus going to the Kashmir valley fell into a deep gorge on the Jammu-Srinagar highway in Ramban district of Jammu on Tuesday. According to a senior official, the bus was carrying passengers from Jammu to Srinagar and fell into a deep gorge after it went out of the driver's control at Digdol in Ramban district. Helicopters have been rushed to the spot to evacuate the injured to hospital. Most of the passengers in the bus were youths coming to the Valley from Poonch and Rajouri districts for a recruitment rally. May 20, 2014

Lokayukta raids Joint Director RC Kuril's residence

Bhopal, May 20 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Lokayukta on Tuesday raided the residence of Bhopal Joint Director of Industries RC Kuril and unearthed illicit assets in Bhopal city of Madhya Pradesh. The Deputy Superintendent of Police, anti-corruption team (Lokayukta), Vinod Sharma talked about all that has been unearthed. Sharma also stated that Kuril owns seven houses three of which are in Jabalpur and four are in Bhopal. Kuril's bank lockers will also be looked into by the team. Manmohan Singh takes responsibility of Congress's failure on government front

New Delhi, May 20 (ANI): As Sonia and Rahul Gandhi offered to step down from the their posts in Congress party, PM Manmohan Singh took responsibility of party's failure on government front where he said it could not control the rising inflation and corruption leading to landslide victory of Narendra Modi. Congress leader Janardan Dwivedi addressed a news conference in New Delhi soon after the Congress working committee meeting was over. He said both Congress chief and vice president offered to quit but the members of the committee refused to accept their resignation and said it was not a solution. Singh who was present in the meeting said his government failed to control the inflation and other problems like rising corruption which dented the image of the party and therefore he was responsible for any failures on the government front.
