Gaya, April 8 (ANI): People in Maoist-hit Gaya district of Bihar participated in 'run for vote' to create awareness among voters and urged civilians to exercise their franchise fearlessly. Participants asked people to turn out in huge numbers on voting day. Attacks in Maoist affected states increase before every election season, as the rebels are against the democratic exercise. Maoists threaten people to boycott elections and instill fear among rural people. Politicians condemn confrontation between EC and Mamata Banerjee

West Bengal/ New Delhi, April 9 (ANI): Politicians on Tuesday condemned the uproar between West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and the Election Commission. According to reports, Banerjee challenged the Election Commission's order of transferring five superintendents on charges of being biased towards some political parties during a rally on Monday in Pandua town of West Bengal. Another attack on Kejriwal, BJP says AAPs false promises may be the reason

New Delhi, April 08 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal has been attacked again. An unidentified man on Tuesday slapped Kejriwal. The incident took place while he was campaigning in Sultanpuri. The attacker is yet to be identified, but he was dressed like an autorickshaw driver. He attacked Kejriwal while he was travelling in an open jeep. Vegetarians less healthy with lower quality of life than meat-eaters!

New Delhi, April 8 (ANI): A new study has revealed that vegetarians are less healthy than meat-eaters and are more at risk of physical and mental illness, despite leading healthier lifestyles.The study conducted by Austria's Medical University of Graz found that the vegetarian diet appeared to carry elevated risks of cancer, allergies and mental health problems such as depression and anxiety.According to the study, vegetarians consumed less alcohol and had lower body mass indexes, but were still in a poorer state of physical and mental health overall and those who ate less meat also showed a tendency to avoid attending doctors appointment for preventative measures such as vaccines.The researchers said that their study has shown that Austrian adults who consume a vegetarian diet are less healthy, have a lower quality of life, and also require more medical treatment.
