Though Price had earlier announced that she was splitting from Hayler, who had a seven-month affair with her best friend of 20-years Jane Pountney, they are working on saving their troubled relationship. Barpeta, Aug 6 (ANI): Three militants of a separatist group, National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB), surrendered in Assam. The militants also handed over a cache of arms and ammunition to the police and paramilitary, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). Deputy Superintendent of Police of Barpeta Police Station, B C Nath said one AK-56 rifle, one magazine, 17 rounds of ammunition, one 7.6mm pistol and two Chinese grenades were surrendered by the militants. New Delhi, Aug 06 (ANI): The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) lent its support to the insurance bill, as the other opposition parties oppose it. An all-party meeting that was scheduled for Wednesday has been scrapped. The deadlock between the government and the opposition parties on the Insurance Bill remains intact. NCP leader Tariq Anwar said that the party is supporting the bill as it is a good thing. However, CPI leader D Raja, opposed the bill. SP leader Naresh Agarwal, said that the stand of both parties on the bill is not clear. Mallikarjun Kharge, said that the party will take the decision after it is passed in the upper house of the parliament.
