Congress says complaint against Sonia Gandhi politically motivated

New Delhi, July 10 (ANI): Congress leader, Abhishek Manu Singhvi, said the court complaint against its chief Sonia Gandhi and her son Rahul Gandhi is politically motivated. An Indian court summoned Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi to answer allegations that they used their leadership of the Congress party to misuse about $15 million of party funds for personal profit. Police arrest three Maoists in Jharkhand

Palamu, July 09 (ANI): Police arrested three Maoists with arms and ammunition in Palamu district of Jharkhand. Acting on a tip-off, a special police team conducted search operation and arrested three members of new ultra outfit 'Sashastra People's Morcha' (SPM) while two others escaped. Superintendent of Police, Y S Ramesh, said they were involved in setting ablaze three machines of a private firm, which were engaged in implementing social forestry project.
