Sikh Indian players asked to remove turbans in China

New Delhi, July 23 (ANI): In a shocking incident during the Asian Basketball Championship in Wuhan, China last week, two Sikh players from the Indian Basketball team were asked to remove their turbans. The match officials informed the players that they were violating International Basketball federation rules and can't play with the turbans. Players Amrit Pal Singh and Amjyot Singh had to play the remainder of the tournament without their turbans. Speaking on the same, Former Sports Minister, Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa on Wednesday said that remove turban is a big insult in their religion. Lucknow, July 23 (ANI): The autopsy of woman, who was sexually assaulted and brutally murdered in Lucknow's Mohanlalganj, came in questions on Wednesday after it said that both her 'kidneys were intact'. The family of victim says that she donated one of her kidneys to her late husband after he battled renal failure. House adjourned after ruckus over Maharashtra Sadan incident

New Delhi, July 23 (ANI): The lower house of the Parliament was adjourned after a ruckus was created over the incident that took place in Maharashtra Sadan where a Muslim was force-fed by Shiv Sena MPs reportedly. Congress leader Shashi Tharoor said that the incident was unfortunate and added that a BJP member in the Parliament came into the well and created a ruckus due to which the house had to be adjourned. Meanwhile, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu said that no body knows what happened in Maharashtra Sadan and Shiv Sena has already clarified that no such incident has taken place. Goalpara, July 23 (ANI): One person was killed and three others were injured in a blast triggered by suspected militants in Goalpara district of Assam on Wednesday morning. Bangalore rape case: Police arrests chairman of Vibgyor School

Bangalore, July 23 (ANI): Bangalore Police arrested the chairman of the privately-run Vibgyor School where a minor girl was sexually assaulted. According to reports, the chairman, Rustom Kerawalla, of Vibgyor School was arrested after it was found that there was delay on his part in reporting the crime to the police. It is also alleged that he concealed information related to the case from the police. It is also alleged that the Kerawalla tried to destroy evidence relating to the incident. Shiv Sena on alleged Maharashtra sadan incident
