Indian men's hockey team returns home after winning silver at 2014 CWG

New Delhi, Aug 05 (ANI): Indian men's hockey team received a warm welcome on its arrival in New Delhi on Tuesday (August 05) after winning a silver medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games (CWG) in Glasgow. The Indian team lost 0-4 to title holders and world champions Australia in the finals. Captain of men's hockey team, Sardar Singh said the team is fully motivated for the future matches. In the last edition of Commonwealth Games in New Delhi in 2010, India had suffered 0-8 defeat at the hands of Australia. However, Indian women's hockey team that returned home on Monday, failed to bag any medal for the second consecutive year. Police arrest four militants in Kashmir

Jammu and Kashmir, Aug 05 (ANI): In a joint operation, the Punjab police along with Special Operations Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police arrested four militants of Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF) and Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF) in Jammu district. Police claimed that the terror module was being controlled by Ranjit Singh Neeta, who has absconded to Sialkot in Punjab state of Pakistan. The four militants were arrested in RS Pura area of Jammu district and have been taken to Bhogpur Police Station in Jalandhar city of Punjab. Police have recovered three Pakistani and six local SIM cards and four Pakistani phones from them. Aug 5, 2014
