Nagpur/Kochi, Sept 02 (ANI): A local functionary of the RSS was hacked to death and another one suffered serious injuries in an attack allegedly by CP I (M) workers, near Kathirur in Kerala. The BJP and the RSS have called for a dawn-to-dusk hartal in the district on Tuesday in protest against the murder. Meanwhile, the day-long hartal disrupted normal life across the state. Modi's performance came a day after signing a clutch of deals with Japanese PM Shinzo Abe, at the launch of Tata Consultancy Services's Technology and Cultural Academy, a programme to send young Japanese employees to India for training in technical and cultural skills. Fire breaks out at Chatterjee International building in Kolkata

Kolkata, Sep 02 (ANI): Fire broke out on the 15th floor of the landmark Chatterjee International building near Park Street in Kolkata on Tuesday morning. Four fire tenders were rushed to control the situation. Since the fire broke out before the office hours, the police said the possibility of any person being trapped in the building, which houses many private and government offices, is less.
