Villagers fear threat to life amid continuous ceasefire violation along Kashmir border

RS Pura, Aug 24 (ANI): Villagers along the Indo-Pak international border in Kashmir live under the shadow of death amid continuous ceasefire violations by Pakistan army. Pakistan army violated ceasefire on the Indian border in the intervening night of August 23rd and August 24th in Jammu district of the province. Arun Jaitley labels GST as priority

Kolkata, Aug 24 (ANI): Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley labeled the Goods and Services Tax (GST) as a priority area for him during his visit to Kolkata. Speaking to the media after his meeting with the West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and state Finance Minister, Amit Mitra, Jaitley said that Central and State governments need to discuss many issues out of which GST is priority. Four day International Film Festival in Kashmir enthrals audience

Srinagar, Aug 24 (ANI): In a bid to revive theatre and film culture in the valley, a four-day International Film Festival of Kashmir (IFFK) 2014 was organised in Jammu and Kashmir in SKICC auditorium. The film festival, which began on Friday in Srinagar city, is being organised by Experimental Moving Images and Theatre Association (XMITA) in collaboration with the state’s tourism department. This is the fourth edition of IFFK, which is marking association’s 10th anniversary with longest-ever line up of movies from across the globe.
