New Delhi/ Srinagar, Nov 15 (ANI): Cabinet ministers on Saturday slammed Former Finance Minister P Chidambaram's remark on AFSPA in which he called it an 'obnoxious law'. Minister of State in Ministry of Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju said that Chidambaram should not take advantage of elections in Jammu and Kashmir and make instigating statements regarding laws. Minister of State in Ministry of External Affairs, Gen (Retd) VK Singh said that AFSPA is a law under Indian Constitution and does not give unlimited power to the Army. Activists stage theatre in Dharamsala to urge G-20 leaders to unite for Tibet

Dharamsala, Nov 15 (ANI): Members of a Tibetan non-governmental organisation in exile, Students for a free Tibet-India, performed a political theatre in Dharamsala to urge the world leaders to come together to raise the issue of Tibet at the ongoing G-20 Leaders' Summit in Australia. The activists wore masks of various political leaders during their acts and also held banners. Many Tibetan supporters carried out similar acts across the world. A cycle rally was also carried out across University of Delhi to gather support for this new approach to talk about a solution to the Tibet problem. Brisbane, Nov 15 (ANI): Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott on Saturday welcomed all the G-20 leaders as the summit commenced in Brisbane, Australia. Abbott met each leader and shook hands with them as they arrived at the venue for the Summit. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi too was welcomed by the Australian PM after 28 years as Modi greeted him with a warm hug. Modi also had a laughter session with his Australian counterpart as he was welcomed by Abbott at the two day G-20 Summit. This followed a cultural program in welcome of the top leadership. Forest officials immediately rushed to Kotanda village in Junagarh district after farmers spot it hiding in a granary. The forest officials captured the wild animal after administering tranquiliser and took it to an animal centre. Brisbane, Nov 15 (ANI): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday met French President Francois Hollande for bilateral talks at the G20 Leaders' Summit in Brisbane, Australia. The G20 summit in Brisbane is focused on boosting world growth, fireproofing the global banking system and closing tax loopholes for giant multinationals. Earlier this year, France had proposed to give India a 1 billion euro ($1.4 billion) credit line to fund sustainable infrastructure and urban development projects. The credit line would be available over three years and would be delivered through the French Development Agency, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius had said on his visit to New Delhi in July.
