Bangalore, Sep 27 (ANI): Public Prosecutor Bhawani Singh while addressing the media on Saturday said that Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa has been sentenced to imprisonment for 4 years in jail and has been imposed with a fine of Rs 100 crore. New Delhi, Sept 27 (ANI): Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa on Saturday was sentenced to four years prison and slapped with a fine of Rs100 crore after being convicted by a City Special Court in the 18-year old disproportionate assets case under the Prevention for Corruption Act. Jayalalithaa has also been debarred from contesting any elections for the next ten years. Leaders from various political parties gave mixed reactions on the same. Jayalalithaa has also lost the MLA's post and will have to step down as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister. Squash team lead by Saurav Ghosal bags third gold for India in Asiad

New Delhi, Sep 27 (ANI): Indian Men's Squash team lead by Saurav Ghosal clinched the third gold medal for India on Day 8 of the Asian Games 2014 in Incheon, South Korea. With this victory, India bagged its maiden gold medal in the squash event in the Asian Games 2014. The men's team defeated Malaysia by 2-0. The women's squash team also beating Malaysia with the similar scoreline of 2-0 clinched its first ever silver in squash earlier. Non-profit body conducts coastal cleanup drive in Andhra Pradesh
