The bus service between Rawalakot and Poonch district was first launched in 2005 to facilitate relations between the two nations. People coming from Pakistan to India said that they were happy as the latter provided clearances in a swift manner, saying they could meet their relatives after 63 years. Another resident of Pakistan, Nazam Abdul, reiterated Rashid's sentiment. Abdul added that she would love to visit India again.
