Amethi, Sep 14 (ANI): A family dispute turned violent in Amethi lead to death of a policeman and left many injured on Sunday. Clash between Congress MP and royal Sanjay Singh’s supporters and his son Anant Vikram Singh’s supporters occurred when Singh’s son and first wife were not allowed to enter the ancestral property Bhupati Bhawan. Bangladesh to sensitize people about dangers of militancy

Dhaka, Sep 14 (ANI): Bangladeshi experts in Dhaka held a seminar to create awareness about the dangers of militancy in wake of recent threats from al-Qaeda signalling the formation of a militant group in the Indian subcontinent. The seminar “Jamaat’s involvement in militancy and militancy in the name of religion: Where does it end?” was organised by Ekattorer Ghatak Dalal Nirmul Committee, an anti-war criminal platform in Dhaka city. The intelligence experts who attended the seminar said Islamic organisation Jamaat-e-Islami, working in several countries like Pakistan, India, Afghanistan and Bangladesh must be banned. BJP sends relief materials to flood ravaged JandK

New Delhi, Sep 14 (ANI): Delhi BJP on Sunday flagged off a truck loaded with relief materials for the people stuck in flood ravaged Jammu and Kashmir. Delhi BJP President Satish Upadhyay flagged off the truck and said that the party is even ready to send their workers to the flood affected state for help in rescue operations. Meanwhile, many Kerala tourists stranded in the flood hit state of Jammu and Kashmir arrived at Delhi airport on Sunday and thanked the authorities for the help provided. Relatives were seen relieved to see their acquaintances as they returned safely from the valley. Subramanian Swamy suggests president rule for JandK, Politicos react

New Delhi, Sep 14 (ANI): BJP leader Subramanian Swamy commenting on the separatist pelting stones at rescue officers said that the best option for Jammu and Kashmir would be to go under presidential rule for at least a year and then have fresh elections. Slamming Swamy for his comment, NPP Chief Bhim Singh said that there is no provision for presidential rule in state and that his statement stinks of old BJP power games. Srinagar, Sep 14 (ANI): Air Traffic Control undauntingly took up the challenge of monitoring aircrafts and choppers making numerous sorties throughout the day to rescue the victims of devastating floods that disrupted normal life in Kashmir. Air Commodore B Balachandran, said on Sunday that the enhanced number of operations demands involvement of more controllers which keep them on their toes all the time. He added that it is a continuous flow and that is how the personnel can maximise the effort, he added.
