New Delhi, Feb 02 (ANI): AAP and Congress on Monday slammed BJP's new advertisement wherein the party took potshots at Kejriwal's dharna just before the Republic Day in 2014, and his demanding an invitation for the Republic Day parade this year. In the small text below the cartoon, the BJP called Kejriwal of upadravi gotra (anarchist gotra). AAP said that BJP should apologise for the act and withdraw the ad failing which the party will move the EC. Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi, said making issues out of religion and caste reflect BJP's true nature. New Delhi, Feb 02 (ANI): Political leaders on Monday react as BJP is likely to release its vision document for assembly elections in Delhi. The vision document is being released instead of a poll manifesto by the party for the upcoming polls. BJP leader GVL Narasimha Rao said that Delhi being the national capital needs involvement from the centre for its development and that the vision document will take the city to new levels. New Delhi, Feb 02 (ANI): In a big jolt to BJP just five days ahead of Delhi Assembly Elections, BJP state executive member and Kiran Bedi's election campaign in-charge Narendra Tandon resigned from the party on Monday. The reasons for Tandon's resignation are yet to be known. Tandon, in his resignation letter to BJP President Amit Shah, said that he “could not tolerate” the way Bedi gave instructions to party workers. “Her (Kiran Bedi) aides used to insult me on every issue,” his letter stated. Snowfall in Kashmir bring cheers to residents

Srinagar, Feb 02 (ANI): Fresh spell of snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir brought cheers to residents and turned the valley into a picturesque panorama. The capital city, Srinagar, received season's first snowfall which ended long dry spell. As per local media reports, the weather department has predicted snowfall during next three days. The minimum temperature recorded was minus 0.2 degree Celsius. Residents were happy as they said that the 40-day long Chillai Kalan, believed to be the harshest winter period in the valley, was over. Snowfall would bring some relief to people as health problems associated with dry winters would also end. Moreover, the snowfall would help increase water level in rivers and streams. 91 children run away from juvenile jail in Meerut

Meerut, Feb 02 (ANI): In a shocking incident in Meerut city, 91 children absconded from a Bal Sudhar Grah (Children Reformation Home) during wee hours on Monday morning. The children made a cloth-rope and jumped over the jail's kitchen wall, the rear side of the premises, at around 3 AM which according to the District Police Officer (DPO) Yatendra Singh, was not being guarded by any police official since the wall was quite high. At present, 185 children were in jail, of which 56 had been shifted to Bulandshahr city and some more were about to be shifted in Ghaziabad. New Delhi, Feb 02 (ANI): In yet another case of vandalism being directed towards the Christian community of the national capital, a church in the Vasant Kunj area of the city was ravaged by unknown persons, just five days ahead of the assembly elections in Delhi.
