Ranchi, Dec 4 (ANI): BJP Chief Amit Shah alleged that the opposition, Congress party has looted Jharkhand and never allowed a stable government in the state. Shah was addressing a rally in Bermo town in the Bokaro district of the state on Thursday. The first phase of polling was held on Tuesday (November 25). The five-phased polls in the state will end on December 20 and counting of votes will take place on December 23. Shah attacked the Congress party alleging it was responsible for the backwardness of the state. Shah said it was time to vote for change and good governance. Dec 4, 2014

New Delhi, Dec 04 (ANI): Janata Dal United leader Nitish Kumar said that Samajwadi Party Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav will take charge of talks to unite parties belonging to the _Janata parivaar_. The erstwhile Janata Dal family, including Janata Dal (United), Janata Dal (Secular), Indian National Lok Dal, Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD) and the Samajwadi Party (SP) today met at Mulayam Singh Yadav_s residence to discuss the modalities for their merger and to create a new party with the objective of countering the policies of the ruling National Democratic Alliance(NDA). Addressing mediapersons after the meeting, Nitish said that there were discussions on current political scenario and was decided that parties will work together inside and outside Parliament.
