Authenticity of ADR report must be verified: Sitaram Yechury

New Delhi, Oct 25 (ANI): Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader Sitaram Yechury on Saturday said that the authenticity of the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) report, according to which the assets of NDA ministers has increased significantly after coming to power, must be verified. An analysis was done by Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) and National Election Watch (NEW) by comparing the value assets of Cabinet Minister's filed for the Lok Sabha elections in May with those sent about five months later to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO). PM Modi inaugurates Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital

Mumbai, Oct 25 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated the Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai. The hospital, in its 90th year, has been completely rebuilt by Reliance Foundation, into a modern 19-storey tower with two heritage wings. The foundation is headed by Nita Ambani. For the first time, the hospital has collaboration with America's most renowned institutes like Johns Hopkins, MD Anderson Cancer Centre, Massachusetts General Hospital and University of Southern California. The hospital will reserve a fifth of its capacity for the underprivileged and provide 10 percent beds for free to the needy and another 10 percent at subsidised rates. Celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, ShahRukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Sachin Tendulkar among many others were also present during the inauguration. 70 suffer injuries during unique 'Hingot' fight in Indore

Indore, Oct 25 (ANI): At least 70 people suffered injuries during the traditional 'Hingot' war in Indore in Madhya Pradesh. The age-old traditional 'Hingot' or mock fight, is fought with fireballs made of Hingot fruit between two groups acting as warriors a day after Diwali. Doctor Neha Jain, on duty at the festival ground, said people with serious injuries were admitted in hospital. Indore district authorities made elaborate arrangements for organizing the 'Hingot' fight in Gautampura town, about 55km from Indore. The fruit stuffed with explosive mixture is launched after igniting the fuse made on its end. A bamboo strip is fitted at its back for better handling and aiming just like an arrow. Oct 25, 2014
