Chandigarh, Oct 27 (ANI): Newly sworn-in Chief Minister of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar, on Monday (October 27), chaired his first cabinet meeting and said all plans and agendas of previous government led by Congress party will be reviewed. Khattar, 60, who is a former member of Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS), took oath as the 10th state chief of Haryana on October 26, after the BJP won the state polls with a clear mandate last week. BJP won 47 of 90 seats in Haryana. During a news briefing in Chandigarh, Khattar said that policies beneficial for people will only be continued. He added that a review did not mean total scrapping of previous plans. Venkaiah Naidu inaugurates water ATM in New Delhi

New Delhi, Oct 27 (ANI): Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu on Monday inaugurated a water ATM (Automated Teller Machine) in New Delhi under the Sarvajal (water for all) scheme to provide potable drinking water at a nominal price. Sarvajal scheme, launched by Delhi Jal (Water) Board (DJB), seeks to provide affordable access to potable water in parched areas through water ATMs. A water ATM is a decentralized water treatment plant that extracts the ground water which then is purified through reverse osmosis system and provided to people. LeT luring youth from flood-hit Azad Kashmir

Centre reveals three names from Black Money list in affidavit to SC

New Delhi, Oct 27 (ANI): The central government on Monday disclosed to the Supreme Court the names of three persons who have allegedly stashed black money abroad. The affidavit which the Centre submitted to the Supreme Court mentioned the names of former Dabur executive Pradip Burman, Rajkot-based bullion trader and jeweller Pankaj Chimanlal Lodhia and Goa miner Radha S Timblo. The list did not feature any politician.Dabur came out with a statement shortly after the Centre filed the affidavit in the Supreme Court. Vietnam's Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung arrives in India for two-day visit

Gaya, Oct 27 (ANI): Vietnam's Prime Minister, Nguyen Tan Dung, arrived in India on Monday to enhance ties and regional cooperation and began his two-day visit by landing in Bihar. Dung, who was accompanied by a 50-member delegation, was received by Bihar Chief Minister, Jitan Ram Manjhi, in Gaya city. During his visit in the state, Dung will pay homage at Mahabodhi temple in holy town of Bodh Gaya, where Lord Buddha is believed to have attained enlightenment. He would also visit the Vietnam Buddhism Pagoda in the town. Both the countries could sign at least a dozen pacts to boost cooperation in sectors like energy, infrastructure, trade and tourism. Dung will hold talks with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi, President Pranab Mukherjee, Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj and other leaders.
